The top recipes of November 2015 were, not surprisingly, mostly focused around the Thanksgiving meal, but all of these recipes would also be perfect for a celebratory December holiday meal. Read on for 10 festive and inspired dishes!

No. 10: Breadless Butternut Stuffing

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (2)

Rachael Ray Show

This is a stuffing with no bread that works for those who follow a gluten-free or Paleo diet. Rach starts the stuffing like she would if she was making it with bread, by sauteeing celery, onion, apple and herbs, but adds roasted squash instead of bread at the end, and adds an onion glaze at the end for added flavor.

No. 9: Michael Symon’s Cheesy Broccoli Gratin

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (3)

Rachael Ray Show

This simple but delightful side starts with sauteeing broccoli in a hot pan, then adding cream, nutmeg and garlic and letting it cook a bit. Mix in some gruyere cheese, then top with thinly sliced scallions and toasted panko breadcrumbs. Delish!

No. 8: Veal or Chicken Ragu with Mushrooms and Marsala

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (4)

Rachael Ray Show

Rach slow cooks a rich sauce featuring ground veal or chicken with Marsala wine and serves over thick ribbons of pappardelle pasta. This would be a perfect meal for a holiday dinner!

No. 7: Grant’s Gluten-Free Apple Pie

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (5)

Rachael Ray Show

The crust for this gluten-free pie is made with a cupboard staple – gluten-free oats! Grant makes his own oat flour in the food processor, then makes a crust that he presses into the dish. He fills the crust with apple pie filling, and then tops it with a crumble topping. So yummy!

No. 6: Marc Murphy’s Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (6)

Rachael Ray Show

Marc Murphy starts by shocking his sprouts in salted boiling water to keep that beautiful bright green color, then sautees with bacon – that’s it! Super simple and doesn’t require the oven so you can do this while your entrée is cooking.

No. 5: Kelsey Nixon’s Slow Cooker Thanksgiving Herbed Stuffing

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (7)

Rachael Ray Show

This game-changing idea is truly brilliant and we can’t believe we haven’t always done it this way – Kelsey cooks her stuffing in the crockpot! She mixes up her stuffing like she normally does, and then just puts it in the slow cooker and cooks on low for 3-4 hours. Wow!

No. 4: Whiskey-Brined Spatchco*ck Turkey

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (8)

Rachael Ray Show

Rachael soaks this delicious bird in a cider, brown sugar and whiskey brine for two days before cooking. She cooks the spatchco*cked bird flat (click here to learn how to do it yourself), which reduces the cooking time to as little as an hour! Right before it’s done cooking, Rach slathers the bird with a whiskey brown sugar glaze. Heavenly!

No. 3: No-Fail Gravy

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (9)

Rachael Ray Show

This is your go-to gravy recipe that you’re going to want to print and probably even put on your fridge. This easy recipe can be used any other time you need gravy to pair with a meal, and you can’t mess it up!

No. 2: Spaghetti Squash with Spinach and Ricotta

The Top 10 Recipes of November 2015 (10)

Rachael Ray Show

Rachael likens the flavor of this healthy dish to lasagna, yum! She starts with two roasted spaghetti squashes, and shreds the insides with a fork. She mixes up some ricotta, spinach, egg and Parmigiano Reggiano, adds the squash, combines, then puts in a casserole dish. She tops with mozzarella cheese and bakes. That’s it!

Rachael Ray Show

For this festive and special dish, Rach cooks and mashes a butternut squash and adds ricotta, brown butter and sage, to make a wonderful, thick, creamy sauce. She adds Italian sausage cooked in chicken stock, a pound of cooked rigatoni or similar pasta and grated Parmigiano-Reggiano, mixes and pours into a baking dish. She tops with more Parmigiano-Reggiano and puts in the oven just long enough to melt and brown the cheese. Delish!
