Denn forschende Pharmaunternehmen leisten als Schlüsselindustrie und Treiber von Wissen und Forschung einen wichtigen Beitrag dazu, dass wir Knowhow im Land halten und ausbauen sowie die Innovationskraft Deutschlands sichern. Eine starke, nachhaltige und international wettbewerbsfähige Pharmaindustrie braucht jedoch die richtigen Rahmenbedingungen, damit medizinische Innovationen nicht ausgebremst werden und Patient:innen von neuen Therapien profitieren können.Die Ende letzten Jahres von der Bundesregierung verabschiedete Nationale Pharmastrategie hat die Verbesserung genau dieser Rahmenbedingungen zum Ziel. Sie will die Potenziale und hervorragenden Voraussetzungen für einen biopharmazeutischen Standort nutzen, damit Deutschland wieder zur internationalen Spitze aufschließen kann. Denn laut aktuellen Zahlen steht die ehemalige Apotheke der Welt nur noch auf Platz sechs im internationalen Vergleich, wenn es z.
